🌿The irresistibly beautiful fragrance of scented geraniums, captured in a smooth and enchanting liqueur. Perfect for sipping over ice or in cocktails. Pure delight!
Who doesn't want to be sent into raptures of fragrant bliss? A neutral spirit like vodka is a perfect canvas for this, but I wonder how it would turn out as a pisco macerado? Cheers!
I puffy heart this so much. It's so inviting, natural, contemplative.
I haven't made anyting floral in years, gosh. The last thing was with glacier lilies in Wyoming, and rose hips and fireweed before that in Alaska. Double gosh, this is inspiring!!
Thanks, Robin! I’m so glad you think so. I’ve been making botanical liqueurs and other drinks from herbs for 30 years, and I have recipes on Shovel and Crunch for several of them! They include tulsi masala chai, crème de menthe, vin d’orange, lemon verbena (liqueur de verveine), lavender (liqueur de lavande), vanilla bean (liqueur de vanille), and several cocktails as well. I’m so glad you like botanical drinks too!
I am definitely heading over to your recipes and will try lavender and lemon verbena right away since they are growing in my garden. You might enjoy my Peony Colada and Cherry Blossom cocktails and Rose water (for many of my Mediterranean recipes). Such a joy exchanging garden treasures with you!
Ooh, Robin, your recipes sound amazing! I’m excited to check them out! And I hope you enjoy the lavender and lemon verbena ones! I really love them. ❤️

Ooh, Nico, I’ve just looked up a pisco macerado, and it sounds wonderful! I can’t wait to try this out! Thanks for the fantastic idea. ❤️

Thanks, Jess! And wow, glacier lilies, rose hops, and fireweed! I’d love to hear all about these awesome projects. ❤️
Love it! Great minds think alike :) You must try this technique with other edible blossoms, so delicious!

Gorgeous!!!!
Thanks so much, Stephanie! ❤️
Does that tiny shovel serve a purpose or just decorative?
Thanks for asking, Ruth! That’s just me getting a little extra gardening fun into the photos with a little shovel-shaped stirring spoon. 🤭😊
