Oh my gosh, thanks for that! I had added the potato step in the recipe card, but not in the step-by-step photos. I really appreciate you letting me know, and I've updated the post. I add the potatoes mashed, after cutting in the shortening and before adding the water. Thanks so much!

I love taters too. I'll be writing a post soon about the 28 heirloom varieties I grew this summer, with photos and taste tests of all of them. I'm really excited! Thanks so much for checking out my recipe! ❤️

I love taters in all forms. 1 question, I didn't see where you added in the taters. Do you consider them one of the dry ingredients?
